Meet PADS Thorin and his partner Ali Harper, a PADS Service Dog Team who are changing the culture of care in the Yukon. Together, they work for Yukon EMS, bringing comfort and calm to first responders across the territory.
Whether it’s a gentle nuzzle after a tough call, a calming presence in a chaotic moment, or simply being there when words fall short, PADS Thorin helps lighten the emotional load carried by those who serve others.
This team didn't make it this far alone. One inspring member of their village is George Prevost. For nearly ten years, George has been a quiet force of inspiration within the PADS community, mentoring new volunteers, sharing the PADS mission at events, and working closely with our Service Dog Training Team. George brings heart, humility, and a deep belief in what’s possible when people and dogs work together.
